Been a long time...

One thing about having two kids and both of us balancing work and school is that something has to give. Apparently that has been our blogging as it has been almost 6 months since our last post. I'm going to try to catch us up.

We'll start with this past summer when Sarah and I took our niece Katelyn to NYC with our brother Zak and his girlfriend Mary. We saw two shows, Wicked and Billy Elliot which were fabulous.

Here is Sarah at the top of the Empire State Building.

Katelyn gets to show off her cool shades.

We also got to meet up with Sarah's old high school friend and my college roommate Tim. Tim showed us around Greenwich Village and posed for a photo in front of the fountain.

We got to go play/dance on the FAO Schwarz piano.

The weather was so nice we needed to walk around Central Park. Here we stood by the fountain near the boating area.

The next cool thing we did when we got back home was have Sarah's sister Hannah stay with us for a week. We took her and the girls out to the Lego Show at the Expo Center.

Here the girls are building cars to race down the ramp.

Don't you wish you could build something like this?

How about a 3 ft tall Voltron made out of Legos?

On the way back, the girls decided they wanted Friendly's, and with Friendly's comes running around outside afterwards to burn off the ice cream.

Hannah shows off her 40 yard dash.

Vanessa wants in on the action as well.

The girls really liked playing T-ball in the front yard. Here a single by Hannah brings Vanessa and Elizabeth home. Apparently the single took off my left arm below the elbow.

Zak and Heather came over to hang with us as well.

Of course, Bosu exercise might be the girls favorite, especially when Grandpa K gets to help.

And finally, you can't ever have too many stories read to you by your Grandma K.
